Upper Arrow Lakes Pile Driving

The project involved the installation of steel pipe piles at three separate locations in the Upper Arrow Lake to support new boat launch docks. The work was undertaken from two barges, one for the materials and the other for the pile driving equipment. To ensure that there was no risk of an environmental mishap with the pile driving equipment Johnston Construction fueled this equipment with Biodiesel, a vegetable oil base fuel, in place of regular diesel.
